Alright i'm going to keep this brief, i'm in Shanghai working at a Singaporean civil engineering company. I work on site and have to read documents and maps in chinese... its an ordeal. On site itself is actually pretty interesting i learn about how the structures are really built, and the problems with design and on site actual building... of coures nothing i've learnt in school relates to what we're doing now but nonetheless its proving to be an interesting albeit harrowing experinece..
Met up with Dwi, Avery, Spence, Vivian in Hk... had a blast... too much to say too little time... met up with Eiline in Shanghai... went to her friend's birthday party... met new ppl... and finally its the weekend.... oh yeah and i'm living in the Mariott Hotel in Shanghai that's in Renming Guang Chang, or People's square in english... oh yeah i think at the end of this trip i'm going to be thinking in chinese and speaking it fluently, as well as picking up a hella lot of new chinese proverbs and stuff... dang...
