While I don't usually pay much attention to which actors and actresses I like. I usually pay more attention to stories, and somewhat to writers. Anyone who knows me relatively well knows that I believe Joss Whedon to be the all-time best TV/Screenwriter ever (a bold claim, I know), and I believe Chris Carter to be a very very close #2. Being a fan of Joss Whedon and Chris Carter, you have an idea the kinds of shows I like. My favorite show ever is the X-Files (though if Fox wasn't the most retarted organization on the planet, Firefly could have surpassed it... Losers).
But I digress... I read online today that Adam Baldwin is going to be in Captain America. Don't know if he's going to be the lead, but he's going to be in the movie. So just out of curiosity, I pulled up his Wikipedia page. There I discovered that he played a roll in The X-Files. I hadn't realized it before. It's one of those "Oh yeah, that's right" things. But then I realized: Of my top 4 all time shows (X-Files, Firefly, Angel, Buffy), he's been in three of them. And he's currently in Chuck, which I love.
So, while I don't think I would normally say, "I really love this actor" and I haven't analyzed it in terms of "He does improv well" or "his facial expressions are good" or "he's very versitile in his roles", he seems to be in stuff I like a lot! So I guess, while he may not be my favorite actor per se, he at least has to get a nomination.
