| | Awesome day yesterday. I must admit I haven't had this much energy in awhile. Maybe it was because of all the sleep I've been getting. It started as the Internet being shutdown for maintenance. I figured I could get some work done with the editing I've been doing, so I went to work and it lasted till 11:00 am. It was frustrating that we had no Internet but when it did come back, things started to brighten up. I was able to fit a conversation with the cute 'Diamonddusty' because I haven't seen her online in the longest time. Makes me want to come back and persuade her to marry me in Lineage. LOL... But I don't think that's possible in my circumstance. Also been talking to my fellow comrade 'Alleah' too... She's been pretty curious lately what body wash I've been using, and what cologne I've been wearing lately... hmm.......
I didn't get to meet up with my grandmother because of some circumstances, but I was fortunate that I was invited to Eaton Centre by the one and only 'X-man'. And so I departed along with 'Zellar' making our way downtown. We all met up and had lunch, and when we finished, 'X-man' proposed to pass by a tattoo parlor, where 'Zellar' wanted to get a quote, how much one would cost. It was so spontaneous that he wanted to get it over with right on the spot. (I'll post a picture of it next post.) It was pretty cool, and the thought of getting one too did cross my mind. 'X-man' and I came up with some crazy ideas and maybe even start a profession in that business. -Keyword, maybe. After the waiting, we headed back to Eaton Centre, passing this huge Christmas Tree. Funny how the lady beside me was doing the same with the her phone. We chuckled and then marched towards Indigo Book Store to look around. My word, there were so many books and people to see. They even had a Manga section where I spent most of my time, treasuring. All of sudden I felt a bump from the back, and as I turned it was the waving and energetic friend from our high school days, 'Ms. E.'. She introduced us to her boyfriend and he seemed like a funny guy. And for some reason they looked like a real match for each other. Love was in the air. LOL. Awesome stuff and congrats!
To think the day couldn't get any better, 'X-man' was able to get free Raptor Basketball tickets earlier in the morning, from a volunteer program that he offers his time to participate. And so we made arrangements to watch the game against Memphis. It wasn't a far walk to the Air Canada Centre, so we decided to take an indoor route, passing the Hockey Hall of Fame Building.
When we finally arrived there were very few peopl in their seats and warm up was still in process. The game was a blast, watching them battle it out, accompanied by our good jokes and laughs. However, watching our team go down with another loss to the record was a bit disappointing.
And so after the game we went to grab some Italian sausage street meat by the hotdog stand right outside Union Station. We walked around for a bit, and proceed to take the subway to Kennedy Station, with plans to meet up with 'Charlie' for that very courteous drive home. Thanks again! Was going to pass out after a long day of fun, but then I got some cute pictures from 'Abe' that I just had to post. They look like a breed between cats and dogs. ~ Desert Fox ~
