I have already done it privately (a few days ago), but I shall now publicly concede to Ethan. (I told him no one else knew and I hadn't decided when I was going to say it, so he wasn't allowed to spoil my fun.) He called me on that "no one would respond to me anyway" thing when we were talking about dating services, and said I had to prove him wrong.

Well... how could I turn down a challenge like that? I signed up on two sites (one of them even being a Baptist site... I'm sorry, those of you who don't like personals, but I had to take him up on this!! ). I set out to prove him wrong.

Yep.

In the process, I just kinda... inadvertently proved him... right.

Yeah, yeah... he was right. I lose.

In less than a week, I've had about 15 guys respond to me. A couple had stood out as nice and sweet, and a couple have just weirded me out. Here ya go:

"GREAT profile, mature, wise and educative....I LOVE it....and those pictures....mmmm!!!!"

...LOL. I really did laugh out loud when I read that. Maybe not the reaction he was going for, but... sorry, that guy is even 28-years-old. I even had two guys in their mid-late 30s respond. Not that I replied to them. Good grief. And I'm not exactly sure because his English is pretty broken, but I think someone even asked me to come to Brazil. *ahem* yeah... okay... *delete* By the way, that was on the Baptist site. lol.

Anyway... I concede. Ethan was right, I was wrong. Enjoy it while it lasts, man.
