I told Elva I'm gonna spread that I'm getting married, and do one of those bridal registry things and see how many presents I can get. ("A big screen TV?! What does she need that for??") And try to take off work for like 2 or 3 weeks for my "honeymoon."

Hey, no one has to know. I can wear my fake ring that looks real. (You know, the one I bought last year to see how many people I could give near attacks. I believe the current count is 3.) And when I get back, I'll start signing everything with my "new" last name. It'll be fine.

But for now... I have to go get ready for work. Eh.

Haha.....she'd have to be spelling that for people for the rest of her life. My maiden name was Roberson, and I was always having to spell that for people because they would always want to put a "t" in it, or turn it into Robinson. When I got married, I thought I wouldn't have to spell Hartman for people - how hard can that be for people to spell? I just didn't have any idea.

lol. And if I married Matt (my "fiance"), I'd have to be spelling it for people anyway. It's not a weird name, just not a common one. And I could definitely arrange for him to get himself over here if someone wanted to meet him. He wouldn't mind.
But when they ask about when we're gonna have kids I may have a problem.

And yes, my room is worse than it's ever been (well... almost). I like it clean so it's driving me crazy, I just can't make myself find the energy to clean it.

It's not a weird name, just not a common one. It's a variation of Kennedy (had to get the genealogy in there somewhere.)

Well, my theory is never to miss a chance to bore your kids with more genealogy. Just like math or any other subject, repetition is the mother of all learning.
