Look for ways to make people's day.

It's really fun, I promise!

Yesterday this really pretty girl came into work, and the first thing I noticed about her was her hair. I wish I had her hair. lol. But she didn't look happy... she was quiet, never said a word, never smiled, and seemed either upset about something or just not in a great mood. Before she left I said "you have really pretty hair!" She looked at me like that shocked her, and then smiled and thanked me. She had that big smile on her face the rest of the time she was in the store, and on the way out.

Maybe it was really nothing, or... maybe it was something. You never know what a smile or a kind word can do. And you never know who might really need it. I know it makes you feel good- sometimes when customers tell me I have pretty eyes, or "beautiful skin" (lol... I hear that a lot, actually), it makes my night.

And it'll make you happy to know that you made someone else happy. Try it!

On another note:
I was really impressed with something I saw at a friend's blog a few weeks ago. (He'll probably know who he is when he reads this  Yeah Sweetie, I'm stealing something from your site.) He was asking for prayer, and wanting God to be merciful with him, but then said:

"I don't want God to neglect to chastise me because of what the scriptures say about those God doesn't chastise. I definatly don't wanna be one of those."

That made me smile. I love his heart. And we all need to be like that.

So glad you practice loving everyone, everywhere... just like Jesus :)
My eldest son used to get embarrassed by the way I talk to EVERYONE as though I knew them... now I think he actually likes it... because there just isn't enough joy in this world, and there certainly should be... our sins are forgiven... the price has been paid... they just need to hear before its too late.
Keep living every day as though it were your last!

Suzanne, I embarrass mine all the time. It's even under "expertise" on my blog. I've been known to pull up beside my son at a red light, motion for him to roll the window down, then yell "hi, cutie". He'd just turn red and drive on - quickly.  He's 23 now, so he just ignores me most of the time

Mmm hmm....that's the fate of most parents. We bring you into the world, feed you, change diapers, take you to the doctor, etc, and them somehow become the bad guys when ya'll get a little older. I can't wait for it to happen to ya'll, too
