| | "I suppose I should be flattered... but I'm NOT!" --Brandon (at work) (...long story.)
I've been shopping today. Tony and the guys will be getting a nice shipment (Oh, and if anyone wants to donate to the cause... go for it. I'm shopping for 15 guys.) I'm reminded why I like doing this... I'm having fun. And Ashley (at church) is so excited about helping. Except, she didn't go with me today because she's got the flu.
The day after tomorrow is my birthday! Red Lobster, baby!!
EDIT: Reconnecting with old friends is always fun.
Me: "I just had another random memory. There was a red-headed guy named Jimmy Davis who used to go to church with us (his parents still go there. I haven't seen Jimmy in a while). He was a teenager at the time, and we were pretty little. We were sitting on the sidewalk watching some of the teenagers play football, and having an argument as to wheter Jimmy's hair was red, or orange. I was on the orange side of the argument... sure, it's CALLED red hair, but I was being technical... his was more orange. So you called him over and asked him what color his hair was. He said "red," and you gave me that "told you I was right" look. And then I was embarrassed because he knew we were talking about him. He had that weird look on his face like "what kind of question was that?!" I may have even been kinda mad at you for that, I don't remember. lol. Anyway... something that just came to me."
AnnaLeigh: "lol I don't even remember that, but you were technically right."
Me: "Thank you. It only took more than a decade, but I am finally vindicated." |
