| | I know, I didn't post my long post yesterday. I will when I finish it, it's saved in private mode. I was just a bit distracted yesterday. After I got home from the doctor I had a long, long, unexpected conversation with a kid who really needed to talk to me. Or, talk at me. Since she was mad, it was more like yelling, but I didn't hesitate to put in her in place, and I knew she'd calm down if we kept talking and she realized how wrong she was. I love her, and we've had some grown-up conversations before, but she is definitely still a teenager.
Well, I'm starting a feel a little better... I went back to work today, but I'm still having some problems so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it until 4:00. We'll see.
EDIT: Well, I was wrong. I predicted 2:00. I ended up leaving at 1:something. I was having some severe cramps and stabbing pains in my stomach and side. I was bending farther and farther over, but eventually I just sat down and couldn't get back up. My mouth went very dry, very fast, and according to everyone else I was pale, shaking, sweating, and and felt hot. I felt cold, though. So, naturally, they sent me home. But they almost called an ambulance. They even took me to my car in a wheelchair (after I assured them many times that I could drive. It was the whole getting to my car thing that was going to be a problem), and one of the managers insisted on following me home in her car to make sure I got there safely.
At least I guess I know they care about me. |
