I had to train a new cashier today. She was, at first, being trained by another of our cashiers, but that was the blind (and deaf and mute) leading the blind, so it fell on me.

I do not have the patience for that sort of thing.

Neither do the customers, the poor people.

Oh, and at lunch (I just stayed at work and ate at McDonald's), an old guy tried to buy me an apple pie. I thought that was funny.

And you probably cheated him out of the blessing of buying you that pie, didn't you? Receiving is something most of us have difficulty with. It is one thing I have had to learn as a pastor's wife. At times we have to let others have the blessing, we can't always be the givers. Remember that next time when someone wants to show an ARK (Act of Random Kindness). Let them! Ok, now I sound like your mother....LOL! jk
