Beth and I went to see Ruthie this afternoon for about an hour. She is in Clear Lake Rehabilitation Hospital, room 102A. When we walked in, she said, "There's some strange people, " and I told her they don't get much stranger. She was telling stories, and laughing so much we asked her if she was on any pain meds. She's not. But her spirits are good and she was glad for a visit. She needs prayer because she doesn't know what she is going to do when she gets out. It is not good for her to live alone now, but she does not want to live with one of her kids. She has lived in her house since 1949, and she wants to stay there.
