Well, the business meeting went ok tonight. The "opposition" turned out because they thought there would be a fight. This group of people never comes to business meetings, just like they never come to workdays. But they were there tonight. So we solved that problem by just not bringing up the thing they wanted to fight about.

So I took the "lead offender" into the office after church and we talked. I told her that I loved her, but there were some things we needed to iron out. And we ironed them out. I think I put a stop to some of the things she has been doing. At the very least, she has been fairly warned. And I kept my cool and everything.

My mom called today and blood pressure was up in stroke range. She has diabetes and kidney failure, and her blood pressure gets more erratic all the time. But it was better tonight. Her kidney specialists told her that if it did not come down in a short time after the addition of another medication, then she needed to go to the hospital.

Rachael will most likely fly to Florida on Sunday and stay a week with her family. The funeral will probably be either Monday or Tuesday.

:mad: Aw, the ol' church business meetings ... how I miss those days ... Baptist? I grew up Baptist and we had some pretty ugly church meetings ...

I go to a denominational church now and the staff and elders take care of the business ... fine with me!

I tell ya, if it weren't for people, the ministry would be a lot of fun! ha! My pastor used to joke and tell us that!

Anyways, I am turning in 10 more sites tonight ... they are all kiddie porn ... that is mostly what we are looking for are the teenagers that are setting up sex sites ... also the Hate groups!!

I will keep your mother in my prayers and Rachel, too, bless her heart!!

Yes, Connie, we are Southern Baptist. This lady I spoke about just gets so over-enthusiastic about things she wants to do that she doesn't think things through clearly. And she misunderstands. She thought she had been given the green light to do whatever she wanted to do, in a lot of areas. Business meetings have been fine and uneventful for many, many months now, but we have been through some tough times before.
