Some of you need to go to TJ's (wolskimom) chatboard. I'm starting to feel all alone on her chatboard. She's an Air Force wife, and my Heart Beat partner. She needs some support. She's getting ready to move from Arkansas to Colorado Springs the first week of July. She's trying to sell their house. Military wives face a lot of challenges, when they are left here to take care of homes and children by themselves. Her husband is in Iraq.
We officially have another engaged couple in our family. My nephew, Michael, and his girlfriend, Holly, have set the date and she has a ring. The wedding is set for December 16, 2007. We tease Holly about them already being married, because they have been together so long. How long has it been Holly - 5 years?
Holly is in college, studying to be a nurse. She has also been a lifeguard, and worked several years at our city pool here in Deer Park. Michael is going to school and working for his parents in the air conditioning business, so he and Brandon work together a lot. And Holly and Michael are both going to be in Brandon and Rachael's wedding in November. We like to keep things in the family 
Update: 3:40 p.m. - I had been emailing with my sister (after talking to her on the phone twice), and I asked her what Holly's ring looked like. I got back this strange answer of "umm....a piece of metal with round shiny things on it." I was doubting that she wrote that, because it does not sound like a woman's description of an engagement ring, and I knew Brandon was right there in the office. I suspect a male wrote that answer.
Anyway, now I know what Holly's ring looks like. I just got back from taking Bethany to work. We were sitting at the intersection of East Blvd and Pasadena Blvd, just outside our subdivision, when Holly pulled up beside us. So we saw her ring. It's beautiful. But now I need a closer look than just seeing her hand sticking out the window!
This is where they will be getting married. And this is Holly and Michael. I swiped the picture from Holly many months back, when she posted it on her blog  I like this picture.
