Please be praying for James Kim  the 35 year old father of 2, who is lost in southern Oregon. They got stranded on a Thanksgiving trip. The mother and daughters have been found, but he is still missing. He went for help on Saturday morning, and has not returned.

This is the time of year when we make our lists and check them more than twice. Many people even make sure they have gifts for their pets.

But do we remember to include Jesus in our list? After all, it is His birthday we are celebrating.

He gave his life for us. What can we give him?

Our lives. Our love. Our obedience.

Matt 22:37-38.....37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart , with all your soul, and with all your mind.'  NKJV

1 John 5:3.....3 This is love for God: to obey his commands.  NIV

Eccl 12:13.....13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole [duty] of man.  NIV

Rev 22:14.....14 Blessed are those who do His commandments...NKJV

1 John 2:3-4.....3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.  NIV

Just read your comment to my comment on the last post. Sorry to hear about the bronchitis. Hope you feel better soon. It's been 8 years since our oldest, and 6 years since the youngest moved out. We still have some of their stuff! :p:lol:

I was just looking on Drudge to see if they found him yet....yes, we need to PRAY!  I watched the news break thing last night on Nancy Grace about them finding the family but not him.  Amazing...they were missing for 9 days!

I'm watching Fox, and they have not found him yet. I cannot imagine how much the wife must be worrying, wondering if he is suffering. That's the part that really gets to me. Not knowing if they are suffering. And then there's the possibility of living the rest of their lives without him.

Wow stunning snowflake!!! Love this blue!!

Wow your story about the memory stick! We had a similar situation when my son Brian met up with a wave that took him down and my husband ran after him with the camera and cell phone ...Mark managed to find Brian had been dumped into a big hole in some rocks and by the time he grabbed him and ran to safety they got hit by another major wave. That wave must have been what killed the camera but the card was still good. We got the picture off of it that Mark was taking of Brian just as the wave hit him you can barely see him in there...freaky!

All is good tho we forgot we had bought insurance on all our stuff for the biz and we thought ahead and bought the "replacement value" so we are good to go!

God is good!!!
