| | Read what Beth and friends did for amusement today. And she has the next mad lib up.
Our Fall and winter calendar at church is getting full.....at least for a small church. On Oct. 31, we have a Fall Festival. Then Nov. 14, we have a church-wide Thanksgiving dinner. Nov. 17 we are having a concert with sandwiches afterwards. Nov. 22 is Thanksgiving, and then on Sunday, Nov. 25, we are having a Sunday School wide breakfast during the Sunday School hour. Then in mid-December (the date isn't set yet) we'll have Christmas caroling with a light meal afterwards, and hot chocolate. We'll have a candlelight Christmas Eve service. Then on New Year's Eve, the men in the church are going to cook a meal. We'll have games and probably a video afterwards. Yes, "Baptist" is synonymous with "food."
3:00 p.m....Steve has a video on his site that you need to see. He preached last night. I was just talking to one of the ladies from church, and she told me he did a really good job. But he showed that video during his sermon.
I'm searching online for assisted living centers for Nita, in case she decides she needs to move to one. While searching, I came across this website about Deer Park. I just thought it was interesting.

Beth came home for lunch, and immediately had to work on more "Dorothy ribbons". When she took them to work this morning, everybody wanted one. So she started working on a few more while she was at work, but it's difficult to cashier and make ribbons at the same time. Emily was trying to cover for her while she crafted. Emily also tried to help glue, but from what Beth said, she's not much of a crafter. She can't be trusted with Super Glue Beth has a system for crafting....kind of an assembly line. So she brought them home to work on them.
At least 3 of them are going to try to go to Dorothy's funeral Wednesday morning. The managers are not going to want them all to be gone, though. But Beth said she is going.

I was just emailing with my sister, Tammy. We are having Thanksgiving at her house, just like last year. My house is under construction and Heather's is, too. Christmas will be at Laurie's. Holly and Michael's wedding shower will also be at Laurie's next month. The wedding is in December, and I can't wait. This is where the wedding will be. If you click on "weddings," it will take you to a page with pictures of several beautiful weddings that have been held there.
I've gotten absolutely nothing accomplished so far, except feeding all the cats. That's a big job. Monday is usually my day to recuperate from our weekend.
