2 Cor 3:17.....17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  NIV

We got Beth a "wobble board" to use in her physical therapy. She uses one at the therapy place, so we thought it might be helpful to also have one at home. But this one came with more than we bargained for........

Motor 4     Motor 3

Motor 2     Motor 1

Just click on them to make them bigger. That's Motor in the box. He always has his motor running, and it's very loud. I guess he would be an inboard Motor.

I'm working on VBS stuff this weekend, since VBS is only a week from Monday. It sneaks up on me every year. But this year's been a little busier than most. Other than that, we're not doing anything special, unless you consider housecleaning/repair special.

We also have to practice music for our July 4 presentation on Sunday. This year's will not be as big as it was the first couple of years.

My cousin in Darlington, Maryland sent me this ecard.

On July 20, Steve will be going to Allentown, Pennsylvania to take some classes and tests all week. He has to get certified in his line of work, in order to continue doing it. So we will finish a week of VBS on Friday night, and Sunday afternoon, he has to fly to PA. No time to recuperate first.

Brandon and Rachael put in an offer on a house. Hopefully they will be homeowners soon. And they'll be closer to where we live than they are now.

Hope you guys all have a good 4th.

@Jess_uh_kuh - :giggle: Sometimes they crack me up, and sometimes they aggravate me. Yesterday Domino was sleeping on top of the printer, and he fell off. That would have been funny, if he hadn't fallen on the desk, scared the kittens that were sitting there, and knocked the mouse off on the floor. Not to mention scared me half to death. We have another cat, Checkers, that frequently falls off of stuff in her sleep. We have a beam that runs across the living room, and she likes to sleep up there, about 8 feet off the floor. But she looses her balance and falls. She's getting old.

Hope you had a happy 4th. Have a great weekend. I am cleaning house and getting things ready around here in case I have to go back to Springfield for a long period of time. Mom is not good and I really don't think she is going to make it.

I only hope that these shots are worth it. I went to the gym for the first time since getting the shot today and it wasn't too bad. My calf muscle hurts more than my knee! Crazy!  :oh-no:

How cute is Motor...adorable.  We had a good 4th.  We went to my in-laws for a short time until it started to pour.  We then went down to some friends who were having a bbq for her co-workers.  They invited us as well...so much food.  We swam and just hung around.  It was clear most of the day, but by early evening it poured!  The only fireworks we saw were on our way home from their house.  All in all it was a fun day.  Blessings for a great weekend. Oh, I'm excited for your son and Rachel.

@chatcat42 - Cathy, I am so sorry. I read your email. I sure wish I could do something more to help you. We love you, and we are praying.

@wolskimom - Hi, TJ...that's what has been bothering Bethany so much, too....she has a lot of pain in her calf muscle since she is trying to use it again now after the injury and surgery. Her legs are noticeably 2 different sizes now, since she has been in a fracture boot or cast for the last 8 months. I'm sure you've been favoring one leg over the other to lessen the pain. It takes a while to build that leg back up.

@buana - Thanks, Jill. I hope we know soon if they get the house or not. They are competing with someone else. The bank will accept the higher bid.

That sounds like a nice July 4th. We didn't do anything. And it poured here yesterday. Our grass is starting to look like a jungle, but it has literally rained every day, and the yard is wet. Pretty soon I won't be able to find the cats when they walk out in the grass

Beth went to Brandon and Rachael's yesterday for movie night. That was the extent of her excitement. We don't usually go see the fireworks anymore. Our city fire department puts them on at the baseball fields, but it's such a hassle to get in and out of there. Sooooo many people always go. We went when the kids were little. I have such good memories of going to see fireworks when I was little, and I wanted them to have those memories, too.  We are also not very far from where the city of Pasadena puts theirs on, too, so last night I could hear lots of booming going on around here.

@buana - Kinda bummed. They did not get the house. It was a bank owned foreclosure, and the bank accepted the bid that made it in before Brandon's. Brandon and Rachael bid higher than the asking price, but we don't know what the other couple bid. Something could happen....their financing could fall through or something. I'm just praying for them to get the house God wants them to have.

@SingingMom - I'm sorry to hear about the house, but as you said God has the right plan and house for them.  Blessings.
