| | Howdy all!! Things are pretty exciting today (although usually when I get excited about something...it doesn't happen....so I'm trying to keep my excitment at a minimal)...going car shopping!! Just waiting for my mom to get home so we can go...my dad is going to try to buy a new car if they have what he wants on the lot today...and then...his goes to me! yay! no more driving the mini van...hopefully. And...I found out that if he gets the car...my insurance will be $800 less than i thought it would be!! (yay again!) $800 I can spend on gas...which will be greatly needed. Went to work last night...and it was the meat sale. Meat...is disgusting. Tastes fine when it's on your plate and cooked and such...but ugh..raw meat...it's enough to make you become a vegetarian...maybe if there weren't so much blood...uck...i think i shall eat vegetables for a few days. What else...hopefully going to the carnival tonight with Jess and Jane and people. I think some swimming is in order today...tomorrow will be good too...I have to work tomorrow morning, but youth group swim party in the afternoon....and I can finally give Amanda her birthday gift (yay!) ...lots of yays today...Then Sunday church where we have our singing and drama performances...it should be exciting at least for the singing. We had practice yesterday afternoon and my voice still isn't completely back from when I had lost it a few days ago...so I volunteered to sing alto with Michelle. Well...if my voice comes back completely before Sunday (my singing voice at least...my real voice is back...thankfully)...but if it comes back before Sunday...i will no longer be able to hit those crazy low notes. So I guess we'll see what happens (c: And another exciting thing...my friend Jessie from camp may be spending the week at my house this week coming up. Not sure when she's coming, but she'll stay until it's time to leave for camp...then we'll go to camp together. And wouldn't it just be exciting if I had a car while she was here?? See...it all relates back to me having a car. And my depressing post from a few days ago...everything is better. It was just a bunch of stuff all building up...but I guess I could say that it all built up...popped and went away. So I'm happy...(I'm happy...We're happy, what do we do now that we are happy?...wait for godot!) sorry...great play if you haven't read it...(there's my advertisment plug) Although I may not be so happy if we come home carless. Hm..this is getting long...probably because I'm sitting here just rambling. Oooh..she's home! yay!! to be continued... |
