| | Okay...I feel the need to clarify about my last entry. I'm not angry because I feel that I was so good that I deserve to be in the musical. lol The musical has always been everybody gets to do it...no matter how good you are (which is always a plus for me because...as you can see...when they cut people...I don't get to be in it! lol) But now, my senior year, they start cutting people. I completely understand why I got cut...I just wish they weren't cutting people in the first place. Yeah...I had reread that entry and I was like...wow...that sounded really conceited and bad. lol So just to put that straight...under no circumstances do I think that I deserve to be in there over anyone else or anything like that. lol Anyway. This weekend was pretty awesome despite the whole play situation. Yesterday (Saturday) I went to Christmas in Hershey with mes parents and we had a really good time. It was cold though!! Crazy cold!! And gr...my parents always go to this restaurant when we're there...and every year since it's around my birthday they get the people to sing to me and bring out cake and whatnot...grr...It's sweet...but I hate that. lol I was like...promise me you won't do it this year. Promise...promise....and so they promised. ANd out come the singers with the cake!! lol It's okay though...it was fun. Then today I went to church and we had our drama and singing performances. Everything turned out really well...then we went to a nursing home and sang for people there...and aw...they're so cute. And so sweet and so appreciative of everything. Then madrigal sang at the Lawrence twp. tree lighting ceremony...and...oh holy night got cut off again!! This time not by someone passing out, but by Santa coming by on his firetruck!! lol It's inevitable! Madrigal will never be able to perform Oh Holy Night completely...we've decided that if we were to try to perform it again, that a meteor would probably come down and strike madrigal...and just madrigal. It'd be like...Oh Holy...boom!! |
