I shoot what I like!

My mission as a photographer is to treasure life, nature and art through photography.
My style in photographing people is honest and fun, celebrating life, love and family. I am casual and believe in making a photo session as fun as possible to capture images and create a memory that a family can cherish for a lifetime. I like to make people laugh and I truely enjoy the humor of children at their most candid or posed moments.
I am so blessed that God provided me with eyes that see His magnificent creation in a most unusual way and with the ability to capture it on film. I feel like I bring my gift through a process from what I see in the lens to a work of art.
Often we are too busy to see the smallest parts of the world until they are captured in time and placed on film. Beauty is found in the most unlikely places - my desire is to seek out those places and create something interesting for everyone to enjoy. -
Beautiful Wedding Albums

This is Victoria & Michael. I photographed their wedding in May at Litchfield Plantation in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. They were one of the easiest couples I've ever worked with! Their wedding was absolutely stunning! The ceremony took place on the back grounds of the main house overlooking the tidal marshes of the Waccamaw River. Following the ceremony the couple took a stroll in a horse drawn carriage through the plantation. The carriage ride was preceded by the cake cutting and dinner at the Carriage House, a restaurant on the plantation grounds.

Beautiful Wedding Albums II

This is Nicole & Darrell. I photographed their wedding in June in Garden City, South Carolina. Their wedding was filled with love and fun as are this terrific couple. The day unfolded with the typical "girls take forever getting ready" so I had plenty of time to bounce back and forth between the girls and the guys, which made for some pretty fun photos. The ceremony was beautiful, opening with a trumpit player and ending with the happy couple taking a ride in a vintage Studebaker down to the beach for some more photos. The reception started with a "zip", as there are many creative ways to keep a wedding gown together when the zipper has busted! Way to go all you guys giving up your safty pins that were keeping your pants cuffed. Classic! I must say, nothing gets this girl down! She still partied, laughed and danced the night away. And all had a blast at this very memorable wedding!

The Best Christmas Present Ever!
Hands down this will be the best Christmas present that their Grandma will ever get! That was the idea behind this fantastic Family Album! We did the shoot because the two families were together for a week during the summer. The Moms thought it would be nice to have a Family Portrait made along with new creative shots of their kids. Then when the shoot was over and the proofs were up they had this marvelous idea to have me create them a book for the children's grandmother. And so this book was born. And it is beautiful!
