SAP here!

Yesterday, I went into a store in the Northgate mall to buy a CD ('The 5 Browns'), and only when I was sitting down at Oracle and had glanced at the reciept did I realize that the store I had walked into hadn't been The Warehouse, as it used to be when I was still living up here in Lucas Valley; it was actually something called 'f. y. e.'! The set-up and the location of the store are exactly the same, so I didn't notice.

-.-

It's finally Friday! Today has been rather uneventful; I edited Gim, and then I read a book during my break. I still have half an hour to go until I can leave, as I was about that much late (it wasn't my fault, though - the bus was late), so I think I'm going to use it to start another website. I'll try making the backbone, or a few vertebrae, at least. I've been thinking about it for a while, anyway. Think of it as a revived 'Cheerful.com Underling'; I'm going to kill off the original on GeoCitites and give the new one a different purpose. (Or an actual purpose; the other didn't really have any.)

Aside from that, I'm not going to walk to TL today. No one seems to care whether I do or not; and anyway, I'm bringing Tiya her DDR things this weekend, so I might see the JJ then.

On Monday, my aunt Something and uncle Something-Else are coming up from Louisiana to visit. I don't know how long they're staying, but I really hope they bring some beignets!
Oh! I think their names are Fran and Lee. Yes; Aunt Fran and Uncle Lee. I'll have to ask them how my cousin, Woody, is doing. Just because his name is so wicked.

^____^

I remember playing Ballwall with him when I was there in New Orleans. I never got hit, I don't think - or maybe it was me getting pelted with tennis balls and not him. Hmm... Oh well.

I got an e-mail from Josh that rather brightened my day. It seems Human Hunting does exist! In the form of 'volunteer paintpall target'-ing, but it's better than nothing. I think I'm going to have to find a paintball course; Miles ought to know.

I'm still looking for a job, and I think the position at the candy store on Main Street is taken already. They were conducting an interview when I got the application, so it's likely. But I'm not sure where else to look. Obviously I can't rely on my bamboo creations for a real source of income... Any ideas? Should it be in Lucas Valley or in Tiburon? Who's hiring? I want answers!

Anyway, I have ten more minutes to waste before my freedom. And lunch. I think I'm going to go do some actual work. Until then.

EDIT: I went to Northgate for a lunch of yakasobi noodles at Edo. I met Keith there (he was in the arcade playing DDR), and we hung out until I had to catch my bus. It was nice to see him. He's taller than before! Argh - no fair! But anyway. He had the day off because the Pope died. (Am I supposed to capitalize that?)
The only really bad part of the day was when I had to take the bus. I'd completely forgotten to get some bus tickets from school, so I had to actually pay! Imagine! And they say looks can get you anything...

What do you mean the Pope died? (yes, you are supposed to capitalize it) He can't be dead already. He's only been in his position what, five weeks? A little more? Or is this a delayed day off from John Paul II? And hopefully, you can come to MCAL's tomorrow, if you get this in time. Come at any time. Many of us will be there. The Jellybean Jar sends greetings. See you tomorrow (maybe). Until then . . .

If you wanted a free ride, you should have put your hand on the driver's forearm and waggled your eyelashes and said that you "feel so safe with a strong man like you driving this bus", preferably in a southern accent.
Or at least that's what you should have done in the "Lacy's mom" school of flirting.
Honestly, that's how she tells us to flirt.
Sigh.

Yes, John Paul II; but I didn't ask, so I don't know. That seems logical, though.

And Lacy... ::Laughs:: Then I'd really be living up to my name!
