Okay - last night as I was searching for decent fanfiction to read (a nearly impossible feat, I know), I stumbled upon a website that claimed (and other, more respectable sites have backed it up) that an Artemis Fowl movie is being made!

Keith was the only one online when I found out, but he didn't seem very excited about it. At all. But I am! I've been grumbling to myself that it would be wicked if a movie(s) were made of the series, and it's due this year! That gives me another thing to look forward to, other than the new Harry Potter book and The Chronicles of Narnia movie!
Of course, I'm going to be very displeased if the movie is anything like The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, which Miramax is also doing. But I'm hoping not.
Congratulations on your driver's license, Kate! I'm not jealous, even if you'd think I'd be, because now (with a bit of practice) you can drive over here and bug me! Whee! Oh, and you don't have to take public transportation, which is always a good thing.
A note - I'm trying to organize a garage sale, but I have two problems: One, Garage sales aren't allowed in the Tiburon community; two, so far I don't have enough things to sell in order to get people really interested. My solution? Maybe we (whomever - Kate, Lacy, Tiya, blah blah blah - I don't think the guys would be terribly interested for some reason, I mostly have clothes; so maybe Zach, too) could hold one together up north where y'all live. (And yes, I just said that - I watched Remember the Titans last night.) Let me know about that, hm?
Anyway, I need to get dressed or something; I've been napping all day. Until then. |
