Kate's over; we spent several hours watching Freaky Friday and went to bed around 2 AM, then got up at 9 and wandered downtown. Chris (who works at The Attic, a wicked card game/comics/20th century arcade game shop) wasn't there, so we visited the candy shop and then checked out a new bookstore and a pet supply shop. All in all it took about an hour. So now we're just hanging out here, basically doing nothing. Kate's reading my Artemis Fowl book and I'm - obviously - typing this posting into existence. I actually have a lot of work that needs doing, but I don't really want to do it. I want it done, yes, but not enough to work on any of it. Let's see... An English assignment (100 pages + log), Geometry (two sections), Life Science (one chapter), and a booklet for World History. It's all due tomorrow, no late submissions.
::Dies, but then comes back to life because homework can't be completed by dead people::
Many thanks to Kate for introducing me to Marc Broussard, an absolutely fabulous artist! Here's a picture of him; and to give you an idea of what he sounds like, go to this site; listen to the songs there, "Just Like That" and "Blue Jeans." I highly advise you check some of his music out!
Well, I suppose I should get to work. Now...what things not pertaining to schoolwork can be put to use? Until then.
NOTE: I'm listening to Marc Broussard, if you couldn't guess, and I'm reading a book on actual serial killers. Unfortunately, my computer is a piece of crap and so Xanga doesn't support my rubbish browser. |
