YAY for being nearly finished with remodeling!
Some asked to see a few pictures of the work I have been doing around the house, so I decided to include a few for those who were interested. I am still waiting on the clear coat to dry in my bedroom, so the furniture is not back in yet, but here you go!
These are cell phone pictures because my house is siuch a mess right now I can't find my camera...

So, that back corner has a HUGE green plant in it now, and the candle holders are in different places, but this is what it looked like when I first finished it.
Stained and High Glossed concrete in my bedroom...
This was unsealed and unfinished WHITE concrete until yesterday. Yes, I know it's brown, but I liiiiiiiiiiiiiiike it. However there was in incident that occurred when spraying on the concrete stain yesterday that caused there to be brown colored splatters up my buttery colored walls. So, in an effort to fix that I spent another $30 on paint and came up with this. I had no idea how much it would change the room, but I am absolutely in love with it.
I can walk around in my own damn bedroom with NO SHOES on. I haven't been able to do that in like 4 years. I'm happy.

Very happy for you! I would love to redo my stuff, especially my bedroom. I still have the original carpet which is 19 years old and looks nasty. I want hardwood floors. That is on my wish list.

those couches look very comfortable. that is important.
with a bare concrete floor like that in your room, you should look into hardwood flooring in the future. it will be very easy since there is no carpet to remove and nowadays they come in attachable slats. just a thought.
