Favorite Descriptive Sentence:  I fell to one knee before the king, awaiting his condemnation for failure.  I do not like the sentence, "They thanked the king before dispersing to the nearest pub" -- because I think the king HIMSELF should have called for his OWN SERVANTS to serve the men!!!  AND clean them UP!!  So, HAH!

wow....so its been a while since i have read over your work.....this is good stuff.....i have to agree with lisa the sentence that she speaks of going to the nearest pub does not seem to flow right......maybe a hearty meal at the kings table would be nice :) i will do my best to keep up with this. i like how your thoughts tie in simon and his mens arrow ended up saving the life of Quinn and the other soldier. kind of symbolic to our lives...things that we might do that seem foolish and most likely will not work end up changing the outcome of other peoples lives...helping them out more than we realize at the time.

^ ^ Actually, Megan, that was my mom, but nice try.

Oddly enough, though, the first sentence is my favorite as well. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a scary thing.

    How funny, that "stray" arrow...

    The king's a sucker.  lol

He just left all the soldiers without offering compensation -- he should be the one buying the drinks!  LoL  Well, maybe he'll get the hook-up for them.  lol  :-p
