Every material object you use, buy, make, rent, sell, lease, borrow, beg, create, destroy, throw out, etc., started as one thing.

An idea.

I wish I could come up with an original idea to make some money!

I pondered this as I tossed away a used coffee filter this morning.

And then I remembered that someone once had the idea for the Hefty Cinch-Sack, and I felt good.

Yup, an idea.  Thought of by someone else.  Who, with any luck, got rich from it. ~sigh~

In response to your comment on my blog about Kerry being better than the current occupant -- how so?  I'm not being smart-assy... I really want to know how he'd be better.  As it stands, I'm not voting for either of 'em.

Ok, the reply to your reply to my reply....

1) Once he won the election, you think you should have declined it?  2)  A couple weeks back, I posted evidence (quotes and writings by Kerry) showing he has NO interest in getting us out of Iraq, and 3) I'm from Texas, where Bush was governor, and he really did care about the lives of regular Americans here.

Again, I'm not voting for either of them -- but Kerry is definitely no better than Bush.

I got a lot of good comments on my blog this weekend. People wrote from their hearts. Some of the comments were far longer than the blog.  Your's was the shortest and definitely one I can identify with.  Now if only there was some prize.......

You know, pouting 4 years after the election is a done deal is really counter-productive.  I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but I quit whining in about February 2001.

And sure, I always vote... but I hope a candidate worth a vote shows up between now and then.  If not, I'm voting for www.xanga.com/stjnky.

I'm a bit distracted by the pro-Dubya comments here in the eprop section. But originanlly I wanted to compliment you on the almost Zen thought in your entry.

Here's an idea for a pensive thought, is there such a thing as a perfect idea?
