More Xangaquestions...do you have SIR where you MUST read all the comments left by other readers?  Do you have SIR where you zoom over all the other comments JUST to add your own?  Do you have SIR where you go BACK and read others' comments AFTER you zoomed over them & added your own?...

You know something? I'm so glad you posed these questions. Maybe someone will read my comment and learn from it.

I am very serious about Xanga. I read my SIR list daily and comment on every single one! I realize not everyone has time to do this, but if they have time to post everyday, then they should have time to READ other peoples blogs as well. If they can't do it everyday... at least once a week would be nice. I have people who subbed to me and I heard from them once, but yet I read their page faithfully. SOOOO... I have decided when I don't see a comment from them in 2 or 3 weeks, I need to remove them from my SIR list and move on. There are too many other people out there who want to have subscribers that comment everyday. That's me.

So if you read this comment and you like a daily commentator, look me up!

Thanks Specific... This is a great opportunity for folks to relieve some frustration!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!!

i need to pay more attention to my subscribers. i am poor about that. i do check in on all the folks i subscribe to, and then bounce around from there. sometimes i pay attention to others comments on others pages, sometimes i dont. i bounce around. thats just me.

I usually scan others' comments before adding mine.  I have found some good SIRs in this way.

There are a couple of blogs that I read a lot of the comments in more depth.

I wrote about words today...just thought I'd tell you.

I'm somewhat in agreement with you, Wickgal.  What I've learned is that some people CAN'T or WON'T post daily...and some, not even weekly.  IF I determine that people like that are worthwhile for me to keep on my SIR list, I do.  But like you, if someone doesn't respond after several weeks, I will drop them.  Occasionally, I fall flat on my face & have to add people back on....

Good questions. There are certain people on my SIR list that I look forward to reading every day. There are people I miss, who haven't posted anything new in ages, but I don't want to let them go yet because I might miss something if they pop up suddenly. There are other blogs that I love some days and can't relate to at all on others, which is OK, but it means I won't comment or eprop because I like to have meaning behind my giving of eprop rewards. Or maybe I'm just lazy like that. I do go back sometimes—when I've exhausted my SIR and the Featured Content and Recently Updated pages—and reread the comments I've left at sites and looked for follow-ups, but there are rarely any.

I have discovered, that if you don't post regularly, some people will not only stop reading you - but that they will actually unsubscribe from you...that happened to me when I was zombied out on Prozac a few months back.

I guess if people are concerned, then they will keep an eye on your condition - if they unsubscribe, of course, that does show an element of intent.

i make it policy to memorize everything i read on here.  EVERYTHING.  one day it's going to be useful.  then they'll believe me.

i think i read other people's comments carefully of the people i am religious about commenting on, when i have as mcuh as a relationship with the other sunscribers as i do with the person i'm reading.  there are some people who's other subscribers just annoy me, though.  those tend to be people i end up unsubbing from, though...

I'm not so good at commenting on my SIR people.  Some of them are only on there because they are my friends.  Others, I read everyday, but don't always comment.

I could do better, that's for sure.

I try desperately to read all my SIRs every day, and I usually read the comments that are left for them as well as posting my own.  I don't subscribe to many sites, but the ones I am subscribed to, I try to be constant and loyal to

Regarding your previous blog about black jellybeans...I always said if there was a hell, there would be nothing to eat but black jellybeans with root beer to wash them down.  Those are the two tastes on this earth that I detest above all others.  I hate the taste of black jellybeans so bad that if I accidentally bite into one, it brings tears to my eyes!

Lemme know if you find those shirts. Little one already has a Cat In the Hat costume for Halloween (it was way too big for him last year). I thought it would be great for hubby and I to be Thing 1 and Thing 2. and....yes, yes and yes.

I hear that the estate is passing down to Jimi's sister, by marriage. Al - actually James - did leave a Will...unlike Jimi.

It is a shame about Jimi's children...he had a daughter by a New Yorker whom he was going to acknowledge as his daughter - but he died before he got around to it...and a son - by Eva Sundvquist - James Henrik Daniel.

James is the spitting image of his father - but as Jimi never left a Will,  it was all open to speculation. (I feel sure that Jimi would have acknowledged both of these children, had he lived.)

More proof that Jimi's death was not suicide!
