| | I don't feel like posting quotes, or online tests, or words of the day (I haven't done the story w/last week's words yet, either). As I sit here typing, I'll come up with something to type about. I keep mentioning this to you writers out there, and it works. The physical act of typing or writing words on paper or PC screen puts the brain in gear. Stuff pours out. Sometimes it's drivel, but you get to the essence of what you really mean or want to say eventually. If it weren't Xanga, I'd let it sit for a couple of days, then edit ruthlessly. But here in the 21st century, the age of instant gratification, and with readers of this site eagerly awaiting every word I put on the page (DAMN, I'm full of meself!... )...I'll only do some editing. Not that you guys don't DESERVE more, but hey, it's MY writing and MY page and if I don't feel like putting this aside for awhile to let it age gracefully, then I won't!... |
