• I'm on the plane... THE PLANE...

  Despite having to go to work, the weekend was very good. We met up with my sister and her husband and went out for a few drinks and a meal last night; a belated birthday get-together. Fortunately their kids were being looked after by their nan, so we had a stress-free evening

  We decided to go via public transport so we could both have a drink. Trouble was having starved myself all day in anticipation of a big feed in the evening, meeting in the pub beforehand was always going to be a bit dodgy, and by the time we left for the restaurant I was already feeling a bit light-headed

  According to my phone, I sent numerous text messages at around 1130pm, which must have been when we were on the train home. Don't you just love getting a text late at night from a friend who's been out on the pop?

   Can we just clear this up? Stephen_Hawking is definitely English; Rebecca was confused by the American accent on his voice synthesiser. Apparently he could have changed the voice a long time ago but realised people recognised it instantly
