The following post contains spoilers for the Clannad storyline, especially on Sagara Misae's path. Do not read if you do not want your story to be spoilt. You have been warned.
Just completed Sagara Misae's path. An hour ago, to be exact. Misae's an enjoyable character to interact with, though her story had me going all "Sawatari Makoto!!! Ayuuu~~!" when I reached the end. Its like Key decided to reuse the Makoto path in Kanon and placed it here in CLANNAD.
The similarities are obvious. Both paths have an animal which changed into human to interact with the one they love. In Makoto's case, she was a fox. For Misae, it was Shima's cat. In both case, the animal-turned-human did not maintain their human form for long, and finally reverted back to their animal form or simply disappeared.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed even though its a rehashed story. It touched me, to see the beautiful yet heart-wrenching romance blossom between young Misae and Shima, and to know what would ultimately happen to the young couple.
Shima, you did keep your promise to Misae. She will be happy to know that you are always there with her, even though she does not know it. *Meow*
I wonder how they will be animating this in the ongoing CLANNAD anime? Or will KyoAni cut it out altogether to focus more on the 5 main heroines? Regardless, as long as they show Kotomi and Nagisa, I'll be happy.

Okay, time to complete Tomoyo's path....And oh, Fuko's story is starting to look alot like Ayu's...A mysterioys ghost girl wandering around school, huh? And she's in a hospital? Hmmm...sounds really familiar....Uguuu.....
