• International Sai Moe 2008 Begins!

   Its a new year, and once again, the Internataional Sai Moe is back to get rabid fanboys/girls all raved up over their favorite characters, where moe-licious girls duke it out for the converted spot of being crowned Moe Queen. Who shall be the Moe of Moe this year? Lets take a look at the round up.

  Serveal big names this year. Already, we have the main cast from CLANNAD, Kanon, Shana, the dolls from Rozen Maiden,the SOS-Dan and the girls from Higurashi.  New names from recent shows are here as well, including Horo from Spice and Wolf. This is looking up. Will the upstarts be able to overthrow the heavy hitters this time? Or will we get more Desu Desu Desu from Suiseiseki? (BTW, they need to spell Suigintou properly)
  
  Here are some matches that are worth looking out for:
  
  Match 1

  
  And right off the bat we get two of the biggest names in anime-dom going at each other head to head. Shana's a household name among otakus, and Suiseiseki won the Japan SaiMoe in 2006. Who shall be emerge victorious? If Shana loses, she will have to go without melon-pan for a week. If Suiseiseki throws in the hat, that means no Desu for her for 7 days. Who will win? Either way, they will be condemning the loser to a living hell for a while. :)
  

  
  

  Match 2:

  
  I'm expecting Rika to win this one here, but will dark horse Hinagiku throw a surprise victory? ...Probably not, but there's always a chance. As they say in anime, never count a character dead unless you see the body, and sometimes, not even then.
  
  Match 3:
  
  Dozo! Have a starfish! This match can go either way, but I'm expecting CLANNAD fans to rally behind our starfish girl through.
