howdy all who still xanga! ;D sorry there hasn't really been an update in for-stinkin-ever but... you know how it goes.

nothing new really. I dunno if I've already said this but i changed majors. i was a vocal music education major but now i am getting a bachelor of fine arts. i decided it wasn't for me. i do like to conduct and i do it all the time but... *shrugs* i dunno :)

new news: my daddie, wes despain, is auditioning for a program in nebraska and kansas city in order to get his doctorite in orchestral conducting. it's something he's always wanted to do but just hasn't really been able to for one reason or another. anyway-if he's accepted it will be a 2-3 year program and he will move to the location. :( i hope he gets it so he can fufill his dream but i don't cuz he's my daddie and i want him here... that's just me being selfish. *le sigh*

seems like everybody's up and leavin... andy just left to go back to S.C for more schooling, daddie might leave, michael might be moving... i dunno... maybe it's just 3 people but that's 3 people that i am close to and it makes me sad to see them go. *sniffs*

good news: triston has asked for charnettas hand in marriage! AH!! Woot-woot! Way to go guys! :) they are both very happy and excited! :)

well... I am at work and so I should probably go ahead and get to work... what do ya think? ;D

It has been a while and I apologize to y'all

I been at work and now school-you know!

School isn't so bad- I have 2 classes everyday and then on Mon and Fri I have voice lessons and on Friday I have a voice class. It's all gooood. oh wait- and I have Spanish 112 on Tue/Thurs nights. and Caraway practice every other Wed. night. that reminds me-i neeeeed to be lookin at that script and memorizin some stuff!

Today I watched 2 episodes of House- that Dr is cuh-razy- and then hung out with Kristy and Cheryl. Cheryl can make some frieeeeeed chicken--y'all don't even know! uh that stuff is goood! I took notes! Next time I have a minute I'll be cookin' some. We went to Cheryl's friend's house. He was funny! She knows how to pick'em ;D

you know Jenna is comin' home on Monday?! now, you know i am excited cuz that little puppy of hers gets real hyper at like 4 in the mown-nin! i can't handle that no mo'! she licks my toes and stuff- i have had enough! i cleaned up her room so it looks like she left it. now i just have to clean mine. ugh... nasty! i don't wanna!

I dunno what to say really cuz I gotta get up in like 5 hours to go sing at church. I can't be wakin' up late cuz then I'll be singin' all raspy and stuff! ew! Jesus don't need to be hearin' none of that! ;D nah, He won't care-as long as it's from the heart. huh! any-ol'-ways... nightchy'all!

Hello readers!

This week is a bit crazy at work. I'm working front desk at MRI for Krispie while she is in some meeting about making our office more effecient. The phone is ringing off the hook! It's naaasty!

Michael's been gone since last Thursday. He went to New Hampshire to see some ol' buddies of his from ENC. I'm glad he got to see them! They went canoeing and camping and stuff like that. I'm jealous. I bet it was lots of fun! I miss him though.

I got to hang out with Derrick on Saturday night! That was fun! We went to the drive in and saw Pirates 2, Cars, and Nacho Libre. I really really liked cars. I think I'll buy it when it comes out... not right away cuz that's too much money. :P Now, Pirates 2 was good but I got confused a lot. (nothing new) And Nacho Libre was funny the 1st time I saw it but round 2 (and at like 3 am) it wasn't as great. I had a good time though :)

Sunday was Jacob and Chelle's 21st b-day! That was cool! We all went to Old Chicago and had some grub. Good times! Happy birthday to them!! Kristy and I got Jacob a gift card to this CD/Movie place in the mall, a baseball of sunflower seeds, and some beef jerky hehehehe I thought it was funny. :) I would've got a gift for Chelle too but I didn't know I'd be seeing her. ooopsies...

I slept in on Sunday morning... no no megan... I had 3 alarms set too! I also got 5 text messages telling me that Joe had come that morning. Goodness! You think I would've woke up with all that beeping and what-not... But I rolled off the bed around noon, went to Jimmie's Diner with the fam., then went to the mall with Joe. He's pretty cool- it's been like 7 years since I've seen him.... He tried to help me find a present for Jacob but then we decided that impersonal gift card was the way to go. :)

DUDE! On Saturday I slept for like, EVER! I woke up around 11:40 to go to the bathroom, went back to sleep until 2, took a shower, watched a movie with Krispie, went back to bed around 5:30 and slept until 8, woke up, picked up Derrick, went to the drive in, took him home, and then went to bed around 5am. THAT is a lot of sleeping!

So, I've been trying to get my bloodwork results back so I know what I'm allergic to and why I'm getting hives but noooooo! I called last Thursday and Dr. Bales was out of town and this other Dr. wasn't allowed to tell me. I called yesterday and was supposed to go in at 2:50 but since we have these people here takin' all the front desk people and the bosses so there's no way I can go in this week! And I called back to see if Dr. Bales could call me with the results and they said there are 3 pages of results and wants me to come in to go over it with her personally... well that's nice and all but that means I have to wait until Monday. *sighs* So I've had these hives since June 29 and still don't know why... now, they aren't as bad and I don't get them as much but it's still buggin'!

Oh! On July 29th (this Saturday) Michael is havin' a par-tay at his place at 3:37 pm to whenever. There will be a slip-in-slide, games, frisbie, movies, hamburgers and hotdogs, and stuff so if you are at all interested I need you to holla at me via e-mail or cell phone! :) We need a head count pretty soon-Thursday at the latest- so we know how much meat to buy. If you plan on attending please bring a side (chips/dip/veggies/whatever), or dessert, or diet soda (we've got coke products so... if you hate coke stuff I would recommend you bring whatchya fancy). Allllrighty! Talk to y'all lata!

well... it sure has been a while. sorry about that. *in yoda voice* busy little bee i am. :)

i'm working full time at cypress this summer. actually. right now i'm covering for krispie since she went out of town this morning with ms. bevin's family to texas. i hope she has fun! i like working over here at mri. working at the mammo office is killer. i guess i'm getting tired of being a gopher (go-for... get it? hehe) and doing all the stuff that nobody else wants to do. like purge and shift charts, file a bazillion papers in charts that are already filed, the call list, ect. but this job has flexible hours and i need that with the classes i'm taking this year. *sighs* oh, and rita isn't my boss anymore. this lady named jenette is. she's kinda bossy and nosey... i'm not a fan. but she's gone this week bwah-ha-ha-haaa! anyway...

i get to house-sit the steinacker's house and feed their puppies! i'm pretty excited. :) it's nice that they thought of me to be responsible. i hope i don't let them down.

i've been talking to andy lately. (for those who don't know, i dated him for 9 months in high school... then out of the blue he broke up with me.) i still like him. pity he's in the navy. i won't get to see him much. but he wrote me a letter! i'm pretty excited about that! it should come in the mail sometime soon.

i've realized that i'm not very opinionated. is that bad?

so i decided i want another tattoo. a hibiscus flower. on my foot. what do you think?

i got all registered for classes today. 20 stinkin' hours. look out! i'm gunna be hittin' the books real hard this semester cuz these are real classes like biology and spanish! i haven't been in a real class for a while with all these music classes. but it's okay-these will be good for me.

i really need to figure out what i wanna be when i grow up. i like what i'm doing today- answering phones, checking people in, ect. but *shrugs* i dunno. i like animals and music too. i know i don't want to be a high school music teacher or a vet. ya know? there are so many things i want to do! i want to be a potter and play with clay and make pretty things. i want to paint and draw and be creative. i want to sing for and with people. i like pretty thigns and i like to please people. i wanna go to hair school. i think that'd be fun. but there's not a job out there that would let me just paint, color, do pottery, and sing all day... is there? and ever if there were it probably wouldn't pay much. not that money is all that big a deal to me but a girl needs a place to stay and food to eat and then i'd need supplies and that could get expensive. i wish i had time for all that now while i'm living at home. too bad i can't just work mornings and then go home and be creative. and i think being a vet tech would be interesting. i (somewhat) liked working at the cat hospital. of course, i just cleaned up the pooooop.... eeeew. man, my hands were so dry because of all the bleach. but if i could help with surgery and stuff, that'd be neat. i don't get grossed out too easily. and i like to help make people/animals feel better. that's why i shouldn't work at the humane society as a volunteer because i would take all the lonely puppies and kitties and bunnies home with me!
