Since I never really did much in terms of decorating my bedroom at my apartment in Bloomington, I've decided that my bedroom in my new townhouse is in need of a little work. I have thought of two ideas for themes, but can't decide which one I like best. So, I thought I would get all of your opinions.

The first theme is Antique/Historical Maps. Here are a few examples I pulled off of art.com

The other theme I was thinking about is Vintage Travel posters. Here are some examples as well.

Vintage travel is hipper and more colorful. The antique maps wouldn't be as youthful.

Vintage travel posters, given that they are more colorful, offer more options for other accessories.

They also tend to be cheaper if you want to buy actual old travel posters.

Both ideas are good. I probably tend toward the travel posters. Depends on your personal preference. Man, you really are gay aren't you -- turning to decorating ideas now. LOL. Just kidding.

tough choice, i would go for more streamlines pieces but really go for antique styles in terms of accessories. Nothing prettier than a stone buddah head on a nice steamlines mahogany table.

in terms of wood/wood colours think Ash, Mahogany, expresso, ebony, u can add punches of colour to liven it, or subdue it with antigue styles with the dark rich colours being the pow.

simple bed, desk and coffee/side table, if u like i will actually give u reference numbers from ikea even lol!!!!
