| HUNGRY EYES
I have lost the "right" to laugh
naked in the sun
to feel free and pretty
walking down the street
even naked alone
I feel they are watching me
HUNGRY EYES
Animals
I am the prey
they see only the prize
HUNGRY EYES
stalking me at night
why women feel the need to hide
HUNGRY EYES
devouring me for lunch
only wanting more
I am only a steak
for the wolf

| There is a SILENCE
that precedes me
making room for something PROFOUND
There is a KNOWLEDGE
found in silence that sets me FREE
to follow QUIET
to take it over
to announce that NOW is the time
There is that SILENCE
found within
There is a SILENCE
finally and at last
Hold on to that SILENCE
while walking thru chaos
then FLYING set FREE
