take a bow
you deserve
all the applause
for many sticky
sloppy kisses
for many sandy
dirty feet dances
for all the laughter
all the tears
the entertainment
you’ve provided
the way you’ve
enriched my life
as a mother
as a parent
as a person
all five of you
take a bow
on your way
out into
the world of
adulthood
I’ll be right here
front row center
for the reprise
