Eric Dane was born in San Francisco, California. He is the oldest of two brothers. His father is an architect and interior designer . When Eric was a wee lad, he was a good athlete. In high school, he started amateur stage work by playing "Joe Keller" in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons", and realized that this was all he wanted to do.

 

 

Eric first came to my attention as Phoebe's boyfriend Jason on the sadly-missed Charmed. He also appeared in the The Basket, Feast, Open Water 2, and many other craptacular roles.Eric also played the character of Multiple Man in the 2006 film X-Men 3: The Last Stand. The hunky 34 year old currently stars as Dr. Mark Sloan aka "McSteamy", a plastic surgeon on Grey's Anatomy (Thursdays on ABC). You'll find him up next in the movie The Wedding Wars.
