| | I Almost Don't Hate Him Now
Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck has slammed George W. Bush's call to outlaw gay marriage. Thousands of same-sex couples have flocked to San Francisco, California, in recent weeks to tie the knot in defiance of Bush's ban.
Affleck, who recently enjoyed a same-sex smooch with comic actor Seth Myers when on Saturday Night Live, has joined a growing list of celebrities who believe homosexuals should be allowed the right to wed.
He says, "I don't think the government should be involved in any way in people's bedrooms or lives. With so much hatred and unpleasantness in the world, why would you wanna get in the way of people who love each other marrying each other?
"Anybody who wants to be able to get married to anybody else should be able to. It's not my business." |
