| Since my last challenge post only got comments about how I broke the rules, I'll post one the right way too! The person I am today is hard to describe without telling of how I got here, which would break the rules once again by telling of family and such, so I'll try not to.
I am joyful. This is not the superficial 'happiness' that most people have for a time, but the joy that I have all the time, through whatever situation I am going through, that can only come through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.
Most people agree that I am talented in several areas, but this isn't about how THEY see me. I see myself as a talented singer, artist, photographer, and writer. My favorite genres for singing are movie music, Phantom of the Opera, and well-written Christian music arrangements.
I would say I have few dreams, though the ones I have are rather large. Biggest among these is the dream of having my book published and turned into a movie by Peter Jackson where I play the leading role of Arianna, Sean Connery plays King Sueoq (unless someone else better is found, I'm open to suggestions on that one), and Liam Neeson plays Lord Rasm (that one is undebatable). I also have this guy I'd like to get to know better....
Something that makes me feel good, worthy, or respected. I am only 16, so it makes me feel good when someone treats me like I am not just a kid, but a person worth listening to. Especially when these people then realize that I have wisdom beyond my years. This has happened several times and it makes me feel proud and good about myself.

I am the writer of a book - The Amulet. It is still being written and hopefully will be published someday.
I am a daughter. I am a daughter of a loving Mother and Father who have helped me and carried me through many things.
I am the teacher of many things. I teach my siblings their school when Mom's not around. I teach my elvish to a friend who wants to read my book. I teach many things.
I am a student. I am a high school student. I am a student of the Bible for it has many things to teach. I am a student of my Mom in the kitchen and other places.
I am an artist. I draw portraits of people. I bring their images, their likeness, to paper.
I am a friend. I am a friend in many ways. I listen when people need to talk. I cry with those who need to cry. I put an arm around those who are in need of one.
I am a sister. I am a sister to two brothers and one sister. They are the best (and sometimes worst) people in my life.
I am a clown (NO! REALLY!). Some would call it a job. I call it a privilege. To see the looks of happiness on kid's faces is one of the best things ever.
I am a tech. To me that means I have worked at the best camp ever. I have worked for a week in the best kitchen with the best staff ever. An experience I will never forget and will do again.

| Ahhh, it's good to be back. I (as is probably obvious) have not posted here for a while. Though I'm not sure anyone reads this except for challenges. Since I last posted anything but challenges I have done many things. First, I came home from Florida. Sad. I've written many pages, mostly handwritten. I think I have about 150 typed pages now, maybe more. I've read some good series. And now I gotta go cause my time's up. I'll add more later.

| Challenge
When do you give yourself a good old fashioned "Atta Boy" (Girl)? What makes you feel like you've done something good? Hmm.
1) When I have worked hard all day or weekend on my book and have gotten many pages complete. 2) When I come up with a brilliant idea for my book, or solve a problem that has come up with it. 3) When I go to voice lessons and my teacher says that I've done a good job. 4) When I finish my school on time and with time to spare for other things. 5) When I make a long xanga post (that doesn't happen very often), or when I get a lot of comments on a post.

| FloridaI am now in Florida. The waves crash upon the sand of the shore. The palm trees wave in the wind to an unheard rhythm. Flags wave in the peaceful breeze and all seems quiet and calm. I sit quietly and listen to the peace and quiet. I will read on the balcony, or eat the ice cream that is distinctive to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I'll come back with a tan and great memories and pictures.
