Two classes today. Walking back from Architecture it was pouring so hard I could barely breathe. I got a Diamondback and used it as an umbrella but it fell apart. But it didn't stop me from leaving the dorm again. I then rode the Metro to Wheaton and did a little shopping. My mother would be proud of all the savings I found. Wheaton is a fiesta of savings. I found pants for the Emo Kid "costume" and some rather emo pins at Hot Topic. Yes, today I posed like a fucking statue. Like a fucking statue.

So, yeah, there's a picture of Alex Band from The Calling on my desktop now. And I don't even really like The Calling! None of the guys have asked yet and that's just fine with me. I mean, Lyle gets Tara Reid. So this is perfectly fair. Next week I'll get some boobs up there. But, in the meantime . . . sigh.

On the way back from Wheaton I didn't want to get off the train so I just rode the Red Line all the way to New York Ave and back instead of just transferring at Fort Totten. On the way back there was this guy at the far end of the train with a bike and it looked like he was chewing his fingers. I started giving the guy these really coy smiles and winked at him and he gave me the funniest look back. When I got back to College Park it was still raining like hell. But when I got to my dorm, even more soaked than I was this morning, everyone was having a mud fight in front of the building. Only in college, I guess, or in kindergarten:

Which picture of Alex? And I LOVE The Calling!!! That's the first album you've got there. Maybe I should bring their new one with me when I eventually end up over there. Awesome album. Which song on Camino Palmero is your fave, so far?

It looks like they had fun in that mud fight, there. Kinda gross, but it looks like it was a blast. That's the biggest smile I've seen on Adri's face for awhile.

Much Love,

Laur
