blogging in the workplace is a sin

this is the view from my desk at the architecture firm I'm working at. I'm not going to name the firm because it's not wise and, hey, a little mystery is always good.

it's really slow now. the other two women I share an office with are not here and essentially if I just hang out and act like I'm busy no one should bother me for a little. And if I have to do something, it'll be scanning drawings or filing invoices, not too bad, really. If I'm lucky, I might snag a nap like I did yesterday during this meeting. YES, I'm being lazy. Don't get me wrong. I've come to love this job, and the people, and the office, even if it's on the other side of the WORLD from me (hour-and-a-half commute, kids! to go nine miles!) and the little pug-dog on my desk. I have no idea where he came from.
