| | I saw Barack Obama today . . . And I doubt anyone cares (he's only going to be our next president), but I blogged about it, and there are pictures.
Well, IKEA took back the charge for the couch, so I am no longer a starving college student. There isn't any news from Faux Paz about the big show, so unfortunately it looks like we will be going head-to-head with Dashboard Confessional in November. I'm actually looking forward to it: I see giant chalkings in front of The Diner saying Cheer Up, Emo Kid! or something like that.
My roommate listens to music via one of those subscription services where you can play whatever you want but you can't save it to your computer. The result is that I will be listening to a band and Elliot will ask what it is, and then for the rest of the day he is listening to that band. Tonight I was listening to Dashboard, which means Elliot will be listening to Dashboard tomorrow. Currently Chris Carrabba is looking at me from his computer. (He is also looking at me from my door, which The Reader might find creepy.)
I feel bad for all the emo kids at Blake (*cough cough Tony*) who four years ago loved Dashboard but now have moved on to smaller and more obscure things. It must be painful watching everything you idolize fall in the hands of super-uncool people like ME. |
