Sex Offender Banned from Son's Graduation
James Jones has been banned from his son's eighth-grade graduation.
James Jones is 36. When he was 17, he raped a girl who was 15-years-old. He served a five year prison sentence. Now he has a son who is graduating from the eight grade. The Buchanan County School department has a policy of not allowing sex offenders to go on school property.
The district superintendent can grant permission but has said she will not make any exceptions. Here is the link: Link

Pope Condemns Contraception, Warns Sex Can Be a 'Drug'
The Pope reaffirmed the teaching of the Church that contraception like birth control is wrong.
The "Humanae vitae" encyclical "prohibits Catholics from using artificial birth control.
The Pope said, "What was true yesterday remains true even today. 'The truth expressed in 'Humane vitae' doesn't change; on the contrary, in the light of new scientific discoveries it is ever more up to date." Here is the link: Link

Happy or Thin?
A friend on xanga wrote a post and I asked her if it was ok for us to discuss her topic. Here is her post:"I cant decide.. The lesser of two evils is upon me and I dont know what to do.. My doctor appointment is on the 15th and it's for a follow up after having my meds changed.. The problem is, the medicine they added, the one the stupid pharmacy tech told me was going to make me gain weight... well it did.. And I am not happy about it one bit... On the other hand, I havent felt this stable in a very long time... sh**(edit).
I really dont know..
My pastor whom I respect and adore asks me "dont you think it's better to be heavier and happy"..? Uuuhh NO... I dont feel happy about this lonja I have developed.. not one bit..
So what is it...?
