MTV Music Awards
I am watching the MTV Music Awards. I think that the talk is going to be that Britney Spears is out of shape. But one thing was running through my mind.
Why doesn't MTV play music anymore?

That's a bad outfit.

They don't play music because 'video killed the radio star' never finished the mission. And so now Radio is still as popular as it was before. So, MTV had to improvise. TV shows seem to work better music videos? *shrugs*

I don't really know and frankly, I don't really care. I was never allowed to watch MTV when I was a kid, and now I really have no desire to.

Music Television play music? What a sensationally novel idea! It'll be like video's of bands playing their music instead of endless drunken sluts having sex with men who are probably homosexuals in the closet in the form of "reality" tv.

Whoa, I'm severely disoriented by that picture. She might be getting out of shape, but she's also looking pretty manly.
Never watch MTV. I like finding my own stuff to listen to as opposed to being told what's good and what's not.
I also severely despise the TV shows they usually play on that channel.

I loved MTV when it first started. It went downhill when singers like Madonna started making softcore porn videos and calling it art.

I loved Mtv when it started. But with all the weird reality-eque shows that are on it now, I almost never watch it.

It's about spreading social decay to the younger generation; that's apparently more profitable. I loved that channel back in the day though when it actually was about music.

I agreed major time!!! I think it shouldn't be called "MTV" anymore cuz what M stands for?? MUSIC Music television.. Right now they are playing anything but music videos maybe later at late late nite or wee AM.. I think they lost the meaning of what MTV really stands for. I can understand using 15 mins to tell the music world about news of our rock/pop/soul singers.. But it should be mainly for musics videos..
