As prettysoccergirl said, compared to her old self. For her standards she is out of shape. If she was an ordinary woman I'd say she looks great. But she's got trainers and millions of dollars and she makes money from looking toned and muscular, so I don't think it's unfair to say she is out of shape by her own standards.

As I said before,

She needs better fashion besides wearing sparkly underwear.

And she is out of shape compared to what she looked like before she had kids.
But she looks awesome for having HAD two kids.

Now her body just looks normal like the rest of us.

As I said last time. If I were doing a comeback.... I would make sure I looked as good (if not better than) before and make sure I knew what I was doing on stage. What a mess that performance was!

And why can't people sing their own songs anymore?

Ya know, this is a wonderful example of how media tries to portray the perfect weight and body type. If Britney were just a normal citizen no one would say anything about how her body looks because for the non-celebrity that is a fairly nice body. BUT because she's a celebrity everyone thinks that she has to be a size zero with a flat stomach. Given the fact that the woman has had two kids and went through that meltdown, she looks pretty fucking good. I don't think her costume was the best idea though, but hey, can't win 'em all.

Yeah she can afford to lose a few pounds, which she will, most likely. Weight loss is pretty overdramatized in everyday life, but for celebrities they can get fat and skinny in a matter of weeks - It's business.

for a normal person, oh no, not at all. i mean, she does have 2 kids... and she has had an early mid life crisis, but um yeah... compared to what she use to look like... she still doesn't look bad. i think that outfit makes her look worse. if you saw her in normal type clothes, people probably wouldn't say she looked out of shape.

She's a mom... we all lose that girlish figure after having children. And why does everyone seem to care so much? It's even on the front page of FoxNews.com... must not be any REAL news to report on.

I think for someone who is paid huge bucks for parading around in nothing, yes, she is out of shape. I'm sure she a staff or personal trainers, personal chefs, who can prepare just what she should be eating, etc. etc., etc. I know she's recently had two kids (I don't know if she remembers that) but in her line of business, she should be looking better. If she were not a celebrity, with access to all I just mentioned, no she wouldn't look too bad. But the rest of us don't have the assistance her celebrity status affords her.

It is impossible to tell if someone is out of shape by a picture. Let's stick her on a treadmill and make her run for a few miles. That would be a better indication.

I see people saying she is out of shape for her standards, but not for ours. Why should celebrities have a different set of standards than the rest of us? She looks amazing, she looks physically HEALTHY instead of too thin...since when did that become out of shape?

Not significantly. She needs to work on her posture and just, well obviously, live more healthily and she'll look better.
