Olympic Swimsuits
Speedo released the swimsuits that will be used at the Beijing Summer Olympics this summer. Amanda Beard, Natalie Coughlin and Michael Phelps posed with the new swimsuit on for photos.
(I can't wait to go out and get mine). When I posted about it in my photoblog, a few people thought the swimsuits were too revealing.
Do you think the swimsuits are too revealing?

it's a racing suit. it looks fine. what, would you rather that phelps wear the traditional speedo instead?
I think it's high time guys started exposing something, since we ladies are constantly on display. Maybe we'd like a view too. So let the show begin!
Not necessarily... But that one does look extremely rediculous on that man. I sure hope it helps him, otherwise he went out in public looking like a total douche for nothing!!!
What's so revealing about it? If anything, it will slow the swimmers down because there's too much fabric!
It's a bit risque on the guy, but it seems to cover absolutely everything else.

But speedos are always like that. This covers more body area than the average speedo.

Revealing? Are some people imagining that swimmers used to wear trunks or something?
FWIW, the fabric has lower friction than skin in water, so the point is to go faster.
Go to speedo's American website. You'll find another picture of this swimmer-model fellow in the same suit and pose, with a certain part of him air-brushed smooth.
Yeah, maybe a little.... but not any worse than the traditional speedo.
And you would look so hott in one of those Dan haha

But I agree with others... I wouldn't say it's any more revealing than the traditional speedo.

I think people need to get past the inescapable facts of anatomy- those swimsuits are designed for speed and therefore must be streamlined, i.e.- rather tight fitting, and when that is the case, things that stick out will show a bit.

barely. come on....its nothing that tights don't show on male dancers...and you -know- if we started talking about that there would be people claiming its the way its always been. if you don't like the look, then don't look down. its as simple as that.
