Nark
Police are now trying to get young people to report crime by allowing them to use text messages to report crime. They are allowing anonymous text tips. Here is the link: Link
I was always taught that you weren't suppose to nark on someone that was committing a crime.
Would you report a crime to the police if you actually saw it take place?

Yeah.
No way.
unless my life would be in danger by doing so - yeah...
Everyone needs to stop snitchin
yeah.
probably
Most likely. Depends
Yes, if it was anonymus.
Got a pic of Sen Obama supporters at my blog.
Yes I would report a crime.
I would if I was wealthy or had good connections in government, hence the respect and protection necessary to make that call without fear of repercussion.
depends on the crime. I'm not gonna report jaywalkers or underage drinkers
Depends on the crime. Criminal Speeding...no. Petty theft...probably not. Other than that, yeah.
Probably only if someone were in danger. That's a very relative question.
A rape or someone beating a child or elderly person, yup.I would dial 911 so fast.
Busting a soda machine or stealing a car probably not.
'cos i will. *ahem* i'm a law abiding citizen.
It would depend who did it. I would probably report it even if it were done by someone I know... It also depends on what crime it was.
Pssst, it's spelled "narc," not "nark." It stands for narcotics agents.
I would probably report it.
Only serious stuff.
Probably not, unless it was a very serious crime, I was the only witness, and I was feeling brave.
It really depends on the crime. Leaving your two and three year old kids in the car while you run into a Panera, sure (and I have), beating someone, murder, rape, ect, yes. Others, probably not.
not only would have. But I have. it is fun to see the cops storm your workplace and arrest your boss.
Yes I would.
Probably, though I'd rather try and stop the crime from being committed at all, if possible.
