Remember how we mentioned we're fixing up little things on Xanga?
One of the little things has been Archives. We've always had a little weblog calendar you can use to find old posts. Problem is, each month/date/year is a separate pulldown... so it's never been a beloved feature.
So to fix that,
Ben and
Mikey added a link to a brand new Weblog Archives page. You can see what I mean here:
There are links to it from any weblog calendar module now... so it should just be one click away. The coolest part of the features is that you can see what months you posted the most in! You can really see how we've been posting a lot more to TheXangaTeam blog since
Natalia started last year

Ohhh sexy!
Something I always wanted!
Nice!
Awesome! This makes it really useful!
wooooonderful i love it
Okay, thanks.
thats cool
Love it. Thank you.
I guess it's better than what we have before. Lot of times people usually check out the new update post and not my old entries. They don't follow what was going on and loose interest. If they read my old entry maybe they slowly get to know who I am a person.
This is great. Might I suggest some additional options for the "Calendar archive" that appears in some themes?
i've always used and loved the archive feature with the drop downs, but this one is cool, too.
i still wish they did it like Live Journal where it the visual weblog calendar unerneath each date it tells you if there was a post that day and how many, that is super useful i think
@CareyGLY - Sure! What did you have in mind?
That's awesome!! :D
(Now I can quantitatively measure my Xanga addiction...)
I love it! It's so much better than the old way of finding our posts. I also think it's really cool that we can see which months we posted more, and exactly how many in each. Another great feature from Xanga! Thanks!
P.S. Go Natalia!
Ohhh I like it, I like it! :)
I like the idea ;)
Cool!
Thanks! That is a great feature...
Sweet! I love it
I like the change. I never was a big fan of the old archives system.
Very nice!
