  • Aaaaaalrighty then...

In accordance with numerous requests by some of the female viewers of my xanga, i'm writing a new blog... the subject of which is: The Existential Ramifications of Cottage Cheese

actually not. i just had to say that... it's kind of funny i suppose.. in a weird, why-did-you-say-that sort of way. anyway, i'll be blogging about manual labor. my thoughts and conclusions.

1: It is a definite necessity that at least once in one's life time, preferably when one is of a young constitution and i-know-it-all frame of mind, to delve one's self into the activity known as "manual labor". this takes advantage of both said preferences in that it A) takes advantage of your young-ness... and exploits in to the best possible advantage... i.e. contractor: "hey! you're young! come rip these nails out, you kid!" you: "can't you do that?" contractor: "stupid kid! get over here!" and B) proves that, contrary to your stolid convictions, you don't actually know everything. i.e. you: "so i ripped out all the plywood with this sledgehammer i found in the corner...." contractor: "what the!... i said rip out the sheet rock you stupid kid! we're going to have to take a 5 week detour to redo everything you just ruined!" you: *grumble... mumble.. why didn't you say so in the first place...*

2: it is good especially for males to indulge in manual labor, since you'll most likely be doing all of it when you have a house of your own anyway. and men, if sometime in the future you own a house and at any point in time are not doing all the manual labor, but are instead letting your wife rip the ceiling, floor, etc. out... well... be ashamed. be very very ashamed. more ashamed than if you'd run T on caps in the 2NC with "educational value" as an impact. yes. it's that bad. actually, worse.

3: it's good for skinny guys to indulge in manual labor because it develops those obscure muscles we never use... like "biceps", "triceps", and the ever elusive "abs" that all those buff guys always talk about. beats me.

conclusion(s): manual labor is a good thing that gets us debaters out of doors... go do some!

I love how you equate not doing labor as worse than running T in the 2NC, etc. that's awesome. I shall save that quote and use it someday. haha.

and I wanted to hear about The Existential Ramifications of Cottage Cheese!! actually; no, nevermind.

and I think I'll take your advice (command?) to go outside and do labor... so I'll now leave for my 15-20 mile bike ride that I was already planning to go on

I really wanted to hear about the existential ramifications of cottage cheese!  Mostly to figure out what you meant bt that cause I have no idea!  But some good advice none the less.  I think I'll go replace my roof now....

Hooray!! you reposted!!   I can't say I've done manuel labor recently but I did do alot of swimming last week! does that count? oh wait! and I painted the inside of a house back in july-tada!

maybe we should discuss the existential ramifications of cottage cheese sometime....cause I'm really not sure what you mean. I shall leave your post ultra confused............

Dude, I just did some major manual labor.  I just helped a lady move from one  house to another house.  For at least 6 hours, that takes some major labor bro.  If you've never moved or helped someone move you are missing some labor experience.

kudos to both michele and chris... that's some great labor right there! painting = not very fun (maybe cause i'm a guy, and i don't care what color things are... ) and chris, good job on the house moving. as the old saying goes, there ain't no friend like a house-moving friend. actually i'm pretty sure that's not a phrase and it prlly never will be. but i like it... sort of... yeah! good work the sneak and the silliest!
