Currently Reading
Thank You, God

First, I'd like to start by mentioning, I am in no way reading the book above, but it reflect the theme of this entry.  Today is a day of thanks.  I can scarecely remember a time when so many things turned right in the midst of so many other things being wrong.  So, Thank You, God.  Today is a day of thanks for numerous things.

The obvious and constant ones being the love and support of friends and family.  I'm nothing without you guys, and you all know it.

The second being the acquisition of new friends, and creation of new friendships and new relationships.  I doubt that people realize how incredibly easy it is for them to light up someone's life just by being with them.  However, the light created is one that won't be extinguished any time soon.

The third one is clear test results.  Getting good news back from a test is like lifting a cloud of doubt and despair.  These aren't even my test results, but I'm ecstatic to hear the news!  (I love you, best friend)  Thank You, God for good test results and for best friends!

Life is at a place right now that I intend to enjoy.  Granted, many things are still wrong, and up in the air, but refer to the afforementioned thanks to understand my enjoyment of life.  Life is good.  it could be better, but it could be worse.  And let's revel in that fact!  WoOhOo!!!!

I know the feeling of happiness while in another's presence.  Isn't it funny how we get that at the exact same time?  ...alarming amounts!  See ya babe, keep smiling!

A couple of thoughts:

With your background it makes it really hard to read entries. have you ever thought of changing the font color.

Another Deeper question:

Would you still thank God for Bad test results? It know interesting isn't it. Most people would automatically say no, I sure wouldn't. But that goes then to ask, do they care about God only if things are going exactly the way they want it, or do they care about God because He is God and deserves their care? We often think that we are the ones who should be ordering the universe. We don't always say with words but rather with actions and how we handle the bad with the Good.

I might add that I do appreiciate props to God, because most would simply ignor Him all together. You know, Job praised God even in the midst of losing all of his possessions and even all of his very own children. His wife said, "Curse God and die" and Job replied, "Naked I came into the earth and naked I will leave it. The Lord has given and the Lord had taken away, Blessed be the name of the Lord" What an odd response, one that we don't hear very often. It's probably because Job had a love for God because it was God, not because it was some cosmic being that bent to his every whim. Come to the think of it the latter isn't much of a God at all. Just some thoughts friend.
Your Bro.
