| | Friday, January 4th, is the day we sign the papers that will make us, officially the owners of the lovely stone cottage we have been waiting for all this time! When we first looked at it, the honeysuckles were still in bloom. Now, FINALLY, the time has come.
From a human standpoint, it seems there was absolutely no reason for all this delay... mainly people being contrary, overlooking details, dropping the ball. Perhaps it was a time for us to practice walking by faith. I don't know, but I am so happy the time is finally here.
The thought of moving is overwhelming, but I'm just going to take it one step at a time. Pray that all goes well, nobody gets sick, or injured by the moving process, and that God will provide all that we need.

Also, thanks for your comment on my most recent post. It was a really good conference, and hopefully in the next few days I'll be able to share more about other things that I learned. I went to this one session where this guy mentioned how the church in America is basically in real trouble today, and he said that it was mostly over ecclesiology. Then he went on to say how our Christology needs to be more important than our ecclesiology, and how if that's true in our life, then our ecclesiology will fall into place. I found what he said really profound, and it's something that I've been pondering over a lot.
