WOW!  It has been awhile.  Hasn't it?    I have to take a small bit of time to gripe about Xanga not being consistent with sending me my subs.  I feel so out of touch with the Xanga community!  When I get my subs daily, I can keep up.  But I can't keep up by just watching for your updates on my main page.  Is there anything we can do about this?  Come on Xanga!!  Okay, I'm done.

I have been busy, busy preparing for this.  It is very cool that biking is catching on in our city.  Considerbiking.org is curating this show to further spread the cycling bug.  Our Mother Arts group will have at least seven pieces from just our group.  Yeah.  We are getting our own wall.  I am so psyched.  I'll post pics.

    Off to a new home!

The Blessing Is Next to the Wound - SOLD!!

Creativity is catching!!  Hubs has been working on this.  Isn't he awesome?  He is having a great time!  I love seeing him excited about something creative.  His aura glows and his beautiful face softens.  It is tricky to add stuff into our lives.  But with less blogging and a little more organization, we are making it work.  One thing we are now doing that helps is a daily load of laundry instead of doing all of it on Sunday.  Hubby puts a load in the washer in the morning.  I put it in the dryer when I get home at 4pm.  Then after dinner, whoever is not doing the kitchen clean up, folds the laundry.  Then that is one less thing we have to do on the weekend.  BTW - Suggestions and tips for streamlining and organizing are welcome.

We went to see this over the weekend.  If anyone is looking for a comic appropriate for kids or for family members to enjoy together, Jeff Smith's Bone series is awesome.  My kids and husband love it.  It has been described as Looney Tunes meets The Lord of the Rings.  Jeff Smith is a Columbus native and continues to live and work here.  It was cool to hear him speak and to see that he was just a guy with an idea.  His path wasn't a straight one either.  He tried to do other things that seemed more "adult" or "stable."  But, he eventually realized he wouldn't be happy doing anything else.  So he gave it a shot and his wife gave him a year to get it off the ground.  She supported him as a computer programmer and eventually had to quit her job to be his business manager as things started taking off.  I love stories like this where people follow their dreams and they come true.  Sigh.

Must go cook dinner.  Gotta go back into my studio tonight.  Pictures soon I promise.

Wow, you guys are all whacked out!  I mean that as a compliment, you know.  I checked out Paul's, Eric's, Sharon's stuff, and I've been seeing yours and Alissa's.  All I can say is I'm blown away.  You must surely have fun together.

Suggestions: Get take out and hire a maid.  Wish I could.
BTW, I'm not a hard core biking nut, but I've been waiting for my feet to give in, so I can push pedals, and it looks like it's here.
And you're right, seeing dreams fulfilled makes you just want to dig in deeper, doesn't it.  Best wishes always.

That's an awesome piece! Congrats on selling it! You are so cool.
Biking in Columbus is such a great idea because driving there is frikkin impossible. I don't think I've been downtown once without getting lost. What is WITH all the one way streets?!

Congrats on selling that gorgeous piece! Woohoo!

I don't have any tips besides doing laundry every single day like you just started doing. I can not do all of the laundry in one single day without stabbing somebody. Rather, I can not watch it pile up in the laundry room without wanting to stab somebody. It seems insurmountable that way. Doing it every day just seems tedious. I can deal with tedious. ;)
