  • Rebirth...

I had a dream last night that I went to the refrigerator, I got out a carton of eggs...I picked out an egg and held it.  It was heavier than most eggs usually feel.  It still had a tiny feather stuck to it.  Do you ever get those?  I buy the brown eggs, so every once in awhile I'll get those.  Anyway, this egg in my hand was slightly misshapen.  I didn't want to open it because I was afraid of what I might find.  But, it slipped out of my hands and cracked open in the sink.  A huge skin bubble emerged from the cracked shell.  Out of the skin bubble came the cutest little live baby chick I ever saw.  I was laughing and called for my husband to come see this.

    Meaning on Dreammoods.com:

    Eggs

To see or eat eggs in your dream, symbolizes fertility, birth and your creative potential.  It indicates that something new is about to happen.

To find a nest filled with eggs in your dream, signifies some financial gain; the more abundant and bigger the eggs, the more significant the gain.

To see cracked or broken eggs in your dream, denotes that you will suffer from many disappointments and misfortunes. It is indicative of a fragile state in your life and feelings of vulnerability. Alternatively, you may be breaking out of your shell and being comfortable with who you are.

To see bright colored eggs in your dream, symbolizes celebration of a happy event.

To dream of rotten eggs, signifies loss. You may have allowed some situation to take a turn for the worse.

To see fish eggs in your dream, represents an idea that has emerged from your unconscious.

I think this dream was a good sign.  Now off to the Franklin Park Conservatory with a class of 30 1st graders!  WOOO!

Oh, and I mostly finished my piece for the bike show.  I forgot to take my camera again.  So you'll have to wait for photos.

Hello ~ thanks for your comments re the chairs.  I am studying Upholstery at a nearby community college, and have been practising at home on chairs I rescue or follow me home.  I will be selling because I have a very small living room and way too many chairs!  Problem is I get attached to them...  Lois
